Description

One of India’s most legendary motorcycles, the Royal Enfield Bullet, has received a fresh upgrade for 2023, blending its classic heritage with modern engineering. The new Bullet 350 has been launched with a starting price of ₹1.74 lakh (ex-showroom) and is available in five color options.

  • Military Red & Black – ₹1.74 lakh
  • Standard Maroon & Black – ₹1.97 lakh
  • Black Gold (Top Variant) – ₹2.16 lakh

Sales and test rides in India begin on September 3, while UK, Asia-Pacific, and American markets will get the new Bullet in the upcoming months.

The new Bullet 350 is built on Royal Enfield’s J-platform, featuring the same 350cc engine and chassis seen in the Meteor 350, Classic 350, and Hunter 350. While the foundation is all-new, the bike retains its iconic design elements, such as the hand-painted pinstriping on the fuel tank, vintage badging, ribbed saddle, and the classic Amp meter.

At 195 kg, the new Bullet 350 is slightly heavier than the outgoing model but remains comfortable with a 170mm ground clearance and an 805mm seat height. The 13-litre fuel tank ensures good range for long rides.

Under the hood, it features a 349cc, single-cylinder SOHC engine producing 20.2 bhp at 6,100 rpm and 27 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The engine is known for its smooth, torquey, and efficient performance, while still retaining the classic thump that riders love.

The double-cradle chassis provides improved stability, supported by a 41mm telescopic front fork and twin shock absorbers at the rear. The Bullet 350 rides on wire-spoke wheels with a 19-inch front and 18-inch rear setup.

Braking options vary by model:

  • Military Red & Black: Front disc, rear drum with single-channel ABS
  • Standard Maroon & Black & Black Gold: Disc brakes at both ends (300mm front, 270mm rear) with dual-channel ABS

Bookings for the new Bullet 350 are now open, and the bike will soon be available at Royal Enfield dealerships across India. While it has no direct competition within its class, it rivals Honda H’ness CB350 and Yezdi Roadster in terms of displacement.
