Tata Tiago EV

Tata Motors launched the all new all Electric Tiago EV with a price range of Rs 8.49 Lakh ( Ex Showroom). To be noted that these prices are valid for only the first 10,000 units. The all new Tiago EV is the most affordable electric car available in India. 

The Tiago gets some special EV design compared to the standard Tiago. The grille has been closed and a tri-arrow pattern has been added. An EV badge has also been added on the grille while under the grille is now tinted blue. The front air vent also gets the same tri arrow pattern for the central air vent.

When it comes at the interior, there are not so many changes compared to the standard one, but what makes it stand out are the blue highlight and leatherette seats that are on the top variants. Let’s take a good look at the equipment, it gets a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple Play as standard. It also gets the ZConnect connected car technology with 45 connected features. Not just this, it also gets the cruise control, auto headlamps, rain sensing wipers, cooled glovebox, tyre pressure monitor, and lastly the famous Harman audio system.

Tata is offering the Tiago with two battery packs. People can choose between a 19.2 KWH battery pack or go with a larger one, which is a 24 KWH battery pack. The claimed range of 19.2 KWH battery is around 250 KM and the larger one gives around 315 KM. The electric motor output also varies depending on the battery packs. The smaller version is paired with a 45 KW motor which develops 105 nm of torque while the larger one gives around a 55 kW motor developing 114 nm.
