Audi has finally introduced the much anticipated real-wheel drive variant of its Q6 e-tron version which has gained enormous recognition due to a higher claimed range than its Quattro and SQ6 counterparts. It is expected to hit the Indian market by the month of March this year with a whooping starting price of approximately 1 crore rupees (ex-showroom).
Now, The Q6 e-tron is available in three different variants in the market, namely, Performance, Quattro and the SQ6 e-tron. All three of them are equipped with a 94.9 kWh battery pack. When it comes to power output, each variant is targeting a different set of customers, the base variant produces around 326PS, the Quattro, a 387 PS and the high-performance SQ6 e-tron is generating over 517 PS of power. Audi has gone one further step in producing top-notch quality vehicles by providing an impressive range of 598 km to 641 km depending on the variant.
Apart from this, another highlight that we came across about this car was the feature of fast charging, speaking technically the Q6 e-tron supports a charging of 270 kW DC. This cool feature enables its buyers to regain 260 km of range in just a 10-minute time. Talking about the premium features of this cars we can say that it offers a complete package of everything under the roof. It includes a triple-screen display setup, Audi AI assistant, Bang & Olufsen 3D sound system, and multi-zone climate control.
Now coming to the necessity that any vehicle should offer, Safety. This Q6 e-tron variant includes multiple airbags, a 360-degree camera, and an ADAS suite for the assistance of drivers. Audi has smartly placed its new variant in the premium Indian EV market segment to compete directly with the Volvo C40 Recharge, Kia EV6, and Hyundai Ioniq 5.
